This exquisite scenery painting was created with the impressionist’s inspirations and collective memories portraying the enchanting scene of the spectacular lighthouse at Cape Leeuwin along the rocky coastline at the southern tip of Western Australia. It performs navigating service during the pitch dark night hours for vessels passing through the stretch of rocky coastline around Cape Leeuwin. The scenic landscape includes a tall lighthouse tower, an education centre and cottages for members the staff.
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is one of the tallest lighthouses in Australia standing at 39 meters. It was built in 1896 and documented as one of the Commonwealth Heritages in 2004.
This original painting of the wonderful impressionistic creation is already in the collection of a wealthy collector who came to Alan‘s solo exhibition.
He who has created the impressionistic image on canvas has determined and very persistent in making his creation to be immortal, widely seen and appreciated, as well as easily owned by appreciators.
