这是一幅描绘新加坡植物园里天鹅湖之绮丽景观的油画作品，有一座塑造一群天鹅正从湖面展翅腾空栩栩如生的雕塑作品，那溅洒湖面的水花令场景倍加精彩与生动，一些活生生的漂亮白天鹅在塑像周围游来游去，相映成趣，深深扣人心弦。
当我第一次见到这宏伟壮观的塑像中之天鹅群腾飞翱翔于湖面上的漂亮姿态时，刹那间心弦被扣，万分着谜！ 我瞬间心血澎湃，画意飙升，基于对它的痴迷与热爱，创作的灵感也倍增不已，让我得以顺利成功把这绮丽又精彩的景观彩绘到画布上。
几年过后我再度到植物园游览天鹅湖，见到当年那扣人心弦的天鹅塑像竟然英姿已逝，水花不再溅洒，整座雕塑陷入暗淡无光的灰黑色，与原本的帅气色泽和生动风貌迥然有别而深感失望，也许此时植物园当局该给它清洗一番以唤回昔日容光焕发、有朝气、有活力又有吸引力的样貌吧！

This is an oil painting depicting the scenic Swan Lake in Singapore Botanical Gardens where there is a spectacular huge sculpture of swans taking off from the lake, drops and drops of water are splashing onto the surface of lake, and there are some beautiful real white swans swimming around the sculpture, the beautiful scenario was extremely fascinating!
When I first saw this magnificent sculpture portraying a flock of swans taking off from the lake with splashes onto surface of the lake in their actions, I was deeply enchanted, mysteriously obsessed to it at the very first instant! Thanks to the wonderful inspiration ignited by the fascinating scenario, a very satisfied piece of fine art painting was eventually created on my canvas!
After some years, I visited the swan lake again and was very disappointed to see the sculpture of swans became ash black in colour, perhaps a cleaning operation is needed to recover the original impressive appearance.
This prominent sculpture with the title “Flight of Swans” located at the Swan Lake in the Singapore Botanical Gardens was created by professional artist Eng Siak Loy.
